How about that? And it happened in a café. Let’s be clear on what an ‘angel’ is. They don’t have wings and nothing whatsoever to do with any religion. We can use the term ‘entity,’ a life form of unknown origin.
The Swedish scientist/mystic Emanuel Swedenborg claims to have spent long periods conversing with ‘angels.’ Swedenborg used that term, (remember he wrote back in the 18th century), and noted the difficulty in describing things for which there are no words, things outside our ‘reality.’
Many people may have encountered ‘angelic’ entities without even knowing it.
Swedenborg says he was given a guided tour of the afterlife, both ‘heaven’ and ‘hell.’ He claims to have met intelligent beings from other worlds and even found a bishop in ‘hell.’
My encounters were brief.
We learn a lot about the entities from Swedenborg. He tells us that ‘they’ constantly asked him two questions about humans:
- What do they mean by the word ‘time’?
- What do they mean by ‘language’?
Swedenborg says entities communicate by some kind of advanced thought process. It may resemble what we call telepathy. He also said the realm inhabited by these entities is not governed by Time, that Time does not exist, nor does Space.
Those that have read the great Kant may put all this together. Kant says that Time and Space are not things, ‘out there,’ but rather part of our perceptual mechanism. In other words we bring them to the table, create ‘reality,’ that this ‘reality’ we all take for real is an animation or cover for a true underlying reality he called the ‘thing in itself.’
Where do these entities come from? What is their point of origin? My guess here, for the ‘angels’ I met did not tell me, is that we are dealing with life forms that are millions, perhaps billions of years in advance of humanity. I posit that these entities once inhabited worlds much closer to the galactic centre. Remember that we are in the ‘suburbs’ of the Milky Way.
The planetary systems close to the centre are vastly older than ours–on the order of billions of years. Now, let us say that a race of intelligent beings arose there. It is well-nigh possible that they have evolved to a non-corporeal form–some type of pure spiritual energy. It’s difficult to describe things we have no words for, as Swedenborg said.
Because of this evolution, their minds, or brain architectures would be very different from ours. And remember that–so to speak–our minds contain Time/Space, in advanced beings these may have vanished. I mean Time/Space no longer exists in the realm they inhabit. So, it fits with Swedenborg. They may not know what language is, as Swedenborg said, because of their advanced method of telepathy-like communication.
More proof is how these entities move. Swedenborg tells us that they, ‘think themselves from place to place.’ They need only to conjure up the idea of a place and they are there. Space, for them, does not exist. I believe this latter point relates to their interaction in the human realm and may go a long way in explaining paranormal events.
It is said that, in times of crisis, ‘angels’ walk the earth in human form to aid Mankind. We must say a few things about this: first, Swedenborg warned about direct, face-to-face encounters with ‘angels.’ He said their ‘intellects’ are overwhelming to a human mind. One of these entities could communicate, with a single word, the same amount of information as contained in a very long book.
There is no suggestion ‘they’ are out to do us harm, in fact, the opposite is the case. But their minds, if we can use that term, are so vastly superior to ours that face-to-face encounters can ‘short circuit’ a human mind, you can go insane. For this reason ‘messages’ or help are given in an oblique way. Swedenborg himself said he feared insanity during his encounters.
How to Know If You Are Facing an ‘Angel’
Many people may have encountered entities without even knowing it. There is a way to tell, and it comes to us from the ancient Hindoo scriptures. The book to read here is the ‘Bhagavad-Gita.’
They don’t blink. ‘Angels’ don’t blink.
I’m afraid I can’t tell you why they don’t, but I know it’s true from my own encounters. We’ll discuss this in another section, if my wife will get off my back and stop hounding me.
